PROHIBITIONS
1. Nominal Prohibition
KEY : place "Don't Be" or " Do Not Be" before a non-verb.
DON'T | BE | NON-VERB
Examples :
- Don't be lazy!
- Don't be crazy!
- Don't be stupid!
- Don't be careless!
- Don't be stingy!
- Don't be late!
- Don't be confused
- Don't be angry at me!
2. Verbal Prohibition
KEY : place "Don't" or "Do Not" before a bare infinitive.
DON'T | BARE INFINITIVE
Examples :
- Don't lie to me!
- Do not follow me!
- Don't steal!
To make a polite prehibition, use "please" at the beggining or at the end of the sentences.
- Please don't cry!
- Don't shoot the bird, please!
- When you Ask for Permissions
More formal
| > Would it be all right if...?
| > Do you mind if...?
| > Could...?
| > Please, may...?
| > Can..., please?
| > Is it okay if...?

| > Sure, go ahead.
